EMS
Express Mail Service
Japan Post's fastest international postal service. Consider EMS when delivery speed matters or your package exceeds the small-packet limits.
- Weight and dimensions
- Up to 30 kg, subject to country-specific weight and size limits.
- Delivery and protection
- Tracking is available. Delivery estimates and compensation conditions should be checked for your destination.
International Air Packet
Airmail for small packages with tracking
A tracked airmail option for smaller items. Packages are generally delivered to the recipient's mailbox without a signature.
- Package limits
- Up to 2 kg. For rectangular packages: longest side up to 60 cm; length + width + height up to 90 cm.
- Delivery and compensation
- Japan Post lists approximately 5–21 days. Tracking visibility depends on the destination. Japan Post does not provide compensation for this service.

Ordinary small packets sent by airmail
An economical postal option for small items when tracking is not required.
- Package limits
- Up to 2 kg. Standard rectangular packages have the same size limits as International Air Packet.
- Tracking
- This is ordinary mail without tracking. Registered Small Packet service ended on December 31, 2025; use International Air Packet if you need tracking.

Common questions
Can every country use all three methods?
Availability depends on your destination and Japan Post's current service status. Contact Yayoi before purchasing to confirm which methods can be used.
What if my package weighs more than 2 kg?
Air Packet and Small Packet cannot be used for a single parcel over 2 kg. Ask Yayoi whether EMS or splitting the items into eligible parcels is possible.
Does the weight include the box and packing material?
Yes. The shipping weight is the weight of the complete packed parcel, including the box and protective material.
Are customs charges included in the shipping quote?
Ask Yayoi to confirm what the quote covers and whether destination import charges may be payable separately.
Can any product be sent by airmail?
The destination and the contents of the parcel can restrict shipping. Send the product links to Yayoi so the team can check them before purchase.
